Cette situation stigmatise les usagers de la route concern\u00e9s de fa\u00e7on excessive et de plus en plus absurde, et donne une importance compl\u00e8tement disproportionn\u00e9e \u00e0 la discipline qu'est la m\u00e9decine du trafic, avec les co\u00fbts qui en r\u00e9sultent. Il convient donc \u00e0 ce sujet de retrouver une certaine mesure et de revenir \u00e0 la raison. Cette sp\u00e9cialisation est aussi bien exag\u00e9r\u00e9e qu'inutile. Forts de leur longue et minutieuse formation, tous les m\u00e9decins autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 exercer sont \u00e0 m\u00eame de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 l'ensemble des examens portant sur les exigences m\u00e9dicales minimales auxquelles les usagers de la route sont soumis. Tel devrait d'autant plus \u00eatre le cas que, conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 l'article 15d LCR, tous les m\u00e9decins autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 exercer sont lib\u00e9r\u00e9s du secret professionnel pour pouvoir annoncer les personnes potentiellement inaptes \u00e0 la conduite aux autorit\u00e9s comp\u00e9tentes en mati\u00e8re de circulation routi\u00e8re ou \u00e0 l'autorit\u00e9 de surveillance des m\u00e9decins.
