Ces mesures porteraient, d'une part, sur la facilitation des proc\u00e9dures et la r\u00e9duction des charges financi\u00e8res et, d'autre part, sur l'exclusion g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de groupes de produits de l'obligation d'autorisation et leur assujettissement au principe du \"Cassis de Dijon\". Les proc\u00e9dures d'autorisation de mise sur le march\u00e9 pour les m\u00e9dicaments ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment \u00e9valu\u00e9es dans le cadre de la r\u00e9vision ordinaire de la loi sur les produits th\u00e9rapeutiques (LPTh, deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9tape), et plusieurs simplifications ainsi qu'adaptations au droit europ\u00e9en ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9es. Le Parlement a adopt\u00e9 la LPTh r\u00e9vis\u00e9e le 18 mars 2016.
