Les courses d'essai l'ont montr\u00e9\u00a0; la technique de compensation de roulis est davantage sujette \u00e0 des d\u00e9fauts techniques, co\u00fbte plus \u00e0 l'entretien et entra\u00eene une baisse de confort pour les voyageurs. Les CFF donnent ainsi la priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, \u00e0 la ponctualit\u00e9 et au confort des voyages et moins aux gains de temps de parcours. Des co\u00fbts ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 engag\u00e9s pour l'adaptation des infrastructures \u00e0 l'inscription rapide dans les courbes sur les tron\u00e7ons Lausanne-Berne et Winterthour-Saint-Gall. Selon les indications des CFF, les co\u00fbts li\u00e9s au bogie avec compensation du roulis s'\u00e9l\u00e8vent \u00e0 5\u00a0% du montant total de l'acquisition. Les CFF r\u00e9pondent de cette d\u00e9cision op\u00e9rationnelle et en assumeront les co\u00fbts subs\u00e9quents.
