Diff\u00e9rentes m\u00e9thodes permettraient toutefois de r\u00e9duire l\u2019impact environnemental du secteur de la d\u00e9construction. Dans son rapport du 3 mars 2023 \u00ab De\u0301chets \u2013 gestion, planification, pre\u0301vention et mesure \u00bb en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 six postulats portant sur l\u2019\u00e9conomie circulaire, le Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral pr\u00e9sente plusieurs approches visant \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les d\u00e9chets et promouvoir le recyclage des mat\u00e9riaux de construction. Cependant, des outils concrets et efficaces manquent encore.</p><p>En Suisse, lors d\u2019un chantier de d\u00e9mant\u00e8lement, les diff\u00e9rents mat\u00e9riaux sont en principes s\u00e9par\u00e9s et tri\u00e9s dans le but d\u2019\u00eatre recycl\u00e9s. Or le recyclage a aussi un co\u00fbt environnemental et ne devrait intervenir qu\u2019en derniers recours. Il est en effet pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de r\u00e9utiliser certains mat\u00e9riaux et certaines structures existantes plut\u00f4t que de d\u00e9molir l\u2019entier des b\u00e2timents et d\u2019en recycler les composants. Selon une \u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par l\u2019EPFL et le smart living lab en 2021 sur mandat de l\u2019OFEV (Ku\u0308pfer C., Fivet, C. (2021), De\u0301construction Se\u0301lective- Construction Re\u0301versible: recueil pour diminuer les de\u0301chets et favoriser le re\u0301emploi dans la construction), la d\u00e9construction s\u00e9lective est encore tr\u00e8s peu appliqu\u00e9e en Suisse. Les auteurs de l\u2019\u00e9tude soutiennent, entre autres, l\u2019introduction d\u2019un \u00ab diagnostic ressource \u00bb. Un tel inventaire permettrait, par le biais d\u2019une \u00e9valuation technique, environnementale et \u00e9conomique, de d\u00e9terminer l\u2019ensemble des \u00e9l\u00e9ments r\u00e9utilisables avant la d\u00e9molition.
