Ohne Interventionen w\u00fcrde der Wolfbestand exponentiell weiterwachsen, bis alle f\u00fcr die W\u00f6lfe geeigneten Lebensr\u00e4ume besiedelt sind. In der Schweiz m\u00fcsste mit 60 bis 80 Rudeln gerechnet werden.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Die durch W\u00f6lfe verursachten Sch\u00e4den an Nutztieren nehmen mit dem wachsenden Wolfbestand und der Ausbreitung des Wolfs zu. Die Sch\u00e4den k\u00f6nnen durch Herdenschutzmassnahmen zum Teil verhindert werden.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Sobald der Bundesrat \u00fcber die Revision der Jagdverordnung entschieden hat, voraussichtlich anfangs November, k\u00f6nnen die Kantone ihre Antr\u00e4ge zur proaktiven Wolfbestandsregulierung beim BAFU einreichen.
