Deux cas de figure sont pr\u00e9vus&nbsp;:</p><p>L\u2019autorit\u00e9 de surveillance des march\u00e9s financiers requ\u00e9rante est</p><p>\u2022 soit responsable de la surveillance de l\u2019assujetti audit\u00e9 au titre de la surveillance incombant au pays d\u2019origine</p><p>\u2022&nbsp;soit charg\u00e9e de surveiller l\u2019activit\u00e9 de l\u2019assujetti audit\u00e9 sur son territoire.</p><p>Entre 2018 et 2023, une trentaine de contr\u00f4les sur place ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9s par des autorit\u00e9s \u00e9trang\u00e8res en Suisse.</p><p>Conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 l'art. 43 al. 1 de la Loi sur l\u2019Autorit\u00e9 f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de surveillance des march\u00e9s financiers, la FINMA peut, afin d\u2019assurer l\u2019ex\u00e9cution des lois sur les march\u00e9s financiers, proc\u00e9der elle-m\u00eame ou faire proc\u00e9der par une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019audit ou par des auditeurs \u00e0 des audits directs dans des \u00e9tablissements d\u2019assujettis sis \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger, et notamment aux Etats-Unis.
